Rethinking a Moorish Terrace

Location
45.451 178, 9.178 245

Hotel combining liveliness, comfort and style. Guests pass through cosy spaces surrounded by greenery. The entrance envelops visitors in a relaxing atmosphere, the inner courtyard surprises with hidden corners of nature, and the terraces, with their exclusive touch, open onto the Navigli of Milan.

A hotel where hospitality and vibe blend perfectly with comfort and style. This engaging project is conceived to create green settings that serve as reception and representation spaces and places of socialisation and intimacy.

The first space guests encounter is the entrance compass, an area designed to immediately envelop visitors in an intimate atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, a green waterfall welcomes guests, with plants delicately descending from the walls, creating an effect of softness and tranquillity. This natural setting invites customers to relax and immerse themselves in a soothing and rejuvenating environment. The building's focal point is the internal courtyard, a green oasis characterised by lush vegetation. The landscape design offers hidden spaces and intimate corners where guests can experience nature up close and personal. The courtyard becomes a place of contact with greenery, where plants create a refined and convivial atmosphere.

The terraces of the Mirador represent the idea of exploring distant destinations with imagination, worthy of a citizen of the world. From New York to Paris, from Istanbul to London, from Shanghai to Madrid, from Bangkok to Milan, access to a new perspective of the 'roofs' becomes a privilege and a symbol of exclusivity. These spaces offer a breathtaking view of the creative Milan of the Navigli. While maximising the panoramic view, screening systems are proposed, integrating vegetation to obtain areas of intimacy and privacy. The botanic choice focuses on a selection from Mediterranean bush to reconnect with the cultural spirit of the typical Moorish terraces.
